EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Lost Food Project is Malaysia’s leading food bank that rescues quality, nutritious surplus food that would otherwise end up in landfill, and redistributes this food to those who need it most regardless of religion, gender, age, disability or ethnic group.

Our dedicated team of volunteers work closely with food distributors and suppliers to reduce the impact of food waste on the environment. With the cooperation and support of our partners, The Lost Food Project rescues tons of surplus food each week and gives it to our charity partners, who in turn use this food to provide nutritious meals for Malaysia’s most vulnerable people.

Session info:

We need help every Wednesday at 4 – 6 pm at Selayang, 7 – 9 pm at Lengkok Belfield, and 9 – 11 am Lengkok Belfield.

A Must Volunteer For:

Those who want to give back to society but don’t have much time or resources to do so. It doesn’t matter what you give, as long as you give it wholeheartedly. Do take note that soup kitchens usually operate during the middle of the night, so consider your safety and convenience before volunteering.
