The 7th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival 2014

The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is one of the first and biggest environmental film festival in Malaysia.  In the last five years, the Festival has reached out to approximately 46,000 Malaysians through its film screenings at selected venues all over the Peninsular.


Conceptualized and organized by non-profit environmental organization, EcoKnights, the Festival is used as a tool to facilitate in building a nation of ecologically conscious businesses , individuals and communities through on-ground activities and film screenings on critical environmental issues.  Partnering with important sustainability leaders in the country such as Publika, KLEFF is steadfastly paving the way to encourage and inspire grassroots communities to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. Award-winning environmental films, interactive learning classrooms and creative clusters within the Festival help push forward the urgent need to take positive actions today. In addition, the KLEFF also works closely with Malaysian higher institutes of learning with the aim of assisting in the development and progression of environmental communication.
