These refugee children dont have a chance to join public schools, so this is the litte we can do to make them more employable so they can fend for themselves. Most of these community centers cannot even afford to pay rent and teachers and will rely soley on volunteers to teach. They come from Myanmar, Yemen, Syria, Afganistian, Iraq, etc.. and even local stateless children who could not get admited into schools.
How to teach – check their workbook to find out where they last stop and continue teaching from there. If they dont have a workbook get them to pick a book from their libary. many are small kids from pre school.
No experience is necessary and anybody who has gone through basic schooling qualifies. No commitment (no need commit everytime), Come only when can by selecting your center to be present.
